On p2 solos I run behind the bone wall to stop her teleports but I can do it legit too, hence the video.

I got a question about the video:

You’re able to damage/destroy barrels right at the start of the fight. I’ve only seen this when the barrels fire up and then the fight is subsequently restarted — for example if the party wipes… or if you run to Belka, start the barrels, WP back to spawn and run back again.

Is there another (better) way to get them destructible at the beginning?

By the way, why are the barrels never targetable even when they’re destructible? My mesmer illusions do not approve of this.

I initially wanted to record an afk solo just for the hell of it so I resetted @ the bone wall and then ran to where the video starts and then began recording but I must have been a pleb and done something wrong because she just functioned normally.

so if there’s anything “off” in the video that’s probably it. It didn’t really change anything though, wardens still spawned badly and exploded on fire fields, I still got knocked in to barrels etc. etc.

@sandy – Yeah I see what you mean. To be honest it doesn’t really phase me whether or not she teleports, I just do it because I can’t kill her faster than she can kill me with the constant burning. I run ooc and back specifically for the ooc heal up, which is evident to anyone that has watched because I’m always attacking her for a while during my solos.

BUT… that’s during solos.

Can you explain how to prevent her from teleporting step by step?

inb4trashcan, just run out of the arena (backwards past the bone wall towards the entrance). There’s a gap on the side of the bone wall, and when you pass through it the wall explodes and Belka will stay in her starting position. It also opens up the nothern bone wall, which used to let you skip her altogether >.>

But like I said, after a minute or so of her being stuck, the wall shows back up and she starts portaling around again when I do it. Someone else may know more….

Tried again last night. It was a very slow kill (mes solo) and she didn’t move.

I feel so lost without my stacks. </3

Did you also do the Abomination? Was it de-aggroing you and targetting your illusions more than previous to the patch?

I’ve done it twice since the patch and he seems to be consistently targeting my phantasms almost immediately after spawning them — both times I almost ran out of tranq guns whereas before the patch, that never happened.

CoE 2 was pretty easy to solo (need to get people to shut off the lazers though). A lot of fractals is easy too. I do suggest trying to solo Lupi first though since that’ll get you into a solid soloing mindset and clean up your timing quite a bit.

lol sorry weth, you did do it on a warrior though where you were forced to tank through everything when you get crystallized. any other class but ranger has a wide variety of escapes from those kitten things. You’re 100% right though that I should have worded my sentence a little better.

The abom can be cheesed if you stack guns (assuming that’s still possible). You do have to wait a little while before shooting though so you don’t get 1 shot from an invisible rock. Alphy is bs though since he’s not affected by stuns or cripple… takes way too much effort for a mini boss imo.

what sanderinoa means is that if you don’t do the duelist tactic for abom it takes ages because mesmer direct damage is crap.
