stop the "donations welcome" in raid LFG ?
Have you got an example? Ive in months never seen a post in the raid lfg fitting your description. If it happens its wrong, but since ive never seen one, im thinking youre stressing out over a single ant

As long as you are offering to take people through the raid, sure.
Maybe the OP meant that they were using the Raid channel to seek donations for something other than raids.

Ah. I’m not sure how that violates ANet’s policy on LFG either. Seems like a nice thing to offer, even if the “donations welcome” is sort of redundant.

As long as the purpose is to form a group, you’re using the LFG for its intended purpose.
In this case, I think it’s a group for cleared maps, and they ask a small donation for the access since they’re doing you a favor.
Yea and its not a demand so you can donate or not.
I’m all ok for those but annoyed to see ppl who use lfg that says 2g for cleared tc.
There’s this guy in pug as soon as we cleared tc in w3 in the early days.. he sell the cleared instance.. I was in his group once and he died in early stage and how dare he sell it after ????

For a sec there I thought you ment the other way around. I/we often have a “looking for opener for xxx-boss” in the lfg. We might want to train mathias, but have already killed him. So to skip sloth/trio and get some time in on mathias, we ask for a nice person to open for us. We normally dont mention any reward, but normally just send 1-2 gold as a ty
I see them all over lfg nowadays but it doesn’t matter at all. Asking for DONATIONS so people can get the chests on a map that other people cleared is not insulting/scamming.
Same as for people who ask to pay 1-2g so some1 can open a specific raid instance.
It’s the same as asking on party lfg to pay someone for the kitten not so secret JP and diving spot or paying people for that 100 fractal timed mote as a lot of players might be crafting ad infinitum but dont have the ar required. Players giving service to other players and asking for donations/gold is actually positive.
If someone is asking for stupid amounts of gold for something on LFG, no1 is gonna pay anyway which eliminates any kind of abuse.
