Looks like this game is left with the zerkers only like oxtred.7658.Now i understand why tanks and healers have left long time ago and why the game PvE is so stagnant.
Any way looks like i will just wait for Anet to finish with their Raid CDI.I really adore the things that are discussed there.
You sound like zerker isn’t required in raids. Wow, wurm head says hello! On the other hand, there are not a single instant that healers and tankers are welcome anywhere, speaking of Gauntlets, Marionette, Battle in LA, Tequatl, Wurm, etc.

The zerk elitests will figure out the raid months after, find the minium defence needed and throw everything else into dmg. They will find out what active defence to chain together, when to do them and learn the matchup. They will combine all this knowlegde and put it into practice till its down.
They will seemlessly stack and do thr dmg rotation pressing all them 1,1,1,3,2,4, etc, etc,..
they might even loS ( line of sight ) the bosses. Through doing all of this they will be called expoiting, hacks and other names.
Yet through this knowlegde, people will take some of this and apply it, and some that apply it will
will turn around and still call them names.
And to think all this is, is people with a tourment style kind of mind doing thr thing..

What is a tank/healer in GW2?
You mean a selfish person decked out in toughness/vit but can’t hold agro making them nothing but a giant blob of meat unable to actually shield his friends because mobs will simply turn to the other people doing more damage? If agro was in any way consistently controllable then sure, tank could be a thing, but it’s not…
Healer, hmm, now I know you can do some decent healing in this game, when you blow all your cooldowns on a guardian you can pump someone back up, but then everything is on cooldown and you have to wait. It’s a nice tool, but even with high Healing Power you can’t consistently pump out enough to be very meaningful compared to the utility skills and what not you can use to completely avoid the damage. The one area where healing is VERY good in this game is water fields + blast. And with that, if you do it correctly you don’t really need to have healing power either. There’s a fallacy in WvW of a “healing ele” where they stack healing power… well… they can… but the only thing it effects is their blasts in that field and the little bit of fringe healing they do in other ways. The majority of that healing is coming from the mass amount of people all blasting at once. So again, no reason to play healer when you can simply throw the water field down, people blast, and everyone is back up.
These roles don’t truly exist in this game because they designed the game for them not to exist. So yes, I’d hope the tanks/healers did leave a long time ago and stopped wasting their time trying to play a game in a way that the game was designed to avoid.
Seriously, this video should be required for everyone who comes into this game wanting to be a healer. Potatoes really gave a healing build a try, but found a plethora of reasons why healing is not viable in this game.

Challange was too confusing to new players … too soon?
There are a lot of smaller sized NA dungeon guilds but it seems like for whatever reason they don’t join forces and make a larger guild together. As everyone knows, its hard to keep a small sized guild going because if you only have 10 people even one person going inactive can wreck your daily activity levels and threaten the longevity of the guild. If three of those 10 man guilds merged they would probably have the critical mass they need to stay established longer term.
I thought I have seen enough of bad blood happening because of guild integration. If the goal is to stay established for… er… dungeons, then it’s a pass.

^^ just takes 2 guys bashing heads to really cause issues.
Friends lists work great anyways, I’m currently guildless and still playing just as much of the game as I want with a couple paths of arah almost nightly and small tours of the rest when I feel like it. And anyways, pugadventures are so much more fun! (as long as you have a friend or two to laugh with).
