Don’t forget the most important video O.o

Added and approved.
Time corrected to 6m 28s. Timer started .167 seconds late and stopped .033 seconds earlier adding .2 seconds to the time bumping it up from 6m 27s to 6m 28s.
No offense Enko but like, I don’t mind our timer being corrected, that’s nice and all but least be accurate.

Every record till now has been rounded down.
Milliseconds are being rounded down. If something is 54.9 seconds, it gets listed as fifty four seconds.
If that goes to 55 seconds, then it gets listed as that.
edit: apparently “as” followed by the number 5 is censored.

I’m using a 30 fps timer overlay from http://www.mediacollege.com/downloads/video/timecode/.
Let me go grab a 60 fps one and compare with that.
Edit: well if i can find one.
Amicable asked me to use Hinas video since it’s in 30 fps as well. Getting 6m 28s exactly with that.

Every record till now has been rounded down.
All times should be rounded up.
Literally 99% of records for the past year have been rounded down.
So if you wanna go over every record till now and add 1s to it then go ahead I guess….
Luckily that’s not my problem.
There isn’t any rule saying timers should be rounded up or down.
People basically made this rule themselves and everyone followed it.
So imo it should be fine as it is and not need a change since it worked fine till now and no one did it any different.
But that’s just me so….
Your guild was on the meeting so I’m sure you aware of the correct procedure. Otherwise we are free to put there any time we want.
I also round the time up if it’s > 0.5s on the timer or more than half the fps if the timer is with frames
doing dungeons fast is serious business
If something is 6m27,5s then obviously you would round it up to 6m28s.
Why round it to an integer? Round it to 0.1 since I doubt anyone would make a record video with lower than 10 fps.
Also, there should be a meeting to discuss and vote on how to round. /s
Well this is nice and all but no one ever officially made a rounding rule.
We just followed how others did it before us.
So anything >=0.5 gets rounded up, okay.
There is no rounding rule. You are free to put there whatever you want. Approvers are free to put there whatever they want. If you think this is a problem feel free to host a meeting for a rule change.
However the official guideline is to always round up. That’s what approvers should follow but I’m not enforcing it since it’s not a rule.
I thought only Miku posts record runs that are one second faster. Just round these up as well, problem solved.
Well this is nice and all but no one ever officially made a rounding rule.
Holy kitten this makes my head hurt
Holy kitten this makes my head hurt
Holy hell, I am tremendously sorry for affecting your mental state.
How will I live with myself now? What will I do with my life with all this guilt inside me?
Would you want an aspirin?
I am sure I can do something to ease the suffering I have caused you.
Gonna go pray to The Seven Gods for forgiveness now.
Anything to make this right, I can do better, give me a second chance!

Eh if it’s that big of a deal, I’ll post a rule proposal update for timer’s on rounding just to make it clear to everybody . ..
L-lets just all hug our Aisaka Taiga body pillows, put on some anime chat covers and be friends.. uguu
Eh ive always followed basic rounding procedures. Round down if its below 0.5 and round up if its 0.5+. Although most records i approved the actual submitted time was mostly rounded up so i never bothered to change it even if it contradicted with usual rounding. And why the kitten do you care. Its not like you lost the record because its 1 second slower. Jesus.
I’m sure Usain Bolt wouldn’t mind if you rounded his 9.58 second 100m sprint up to 10 seconds. :P
I’ve always rounded 0.5+ up and 0.499- down as normal. I’m also in agreement with Spoj. Who cares? If your record gets usurped by 1 second at any point we’ll compare milliseconds to determine the record holder, and at that point rounding doesn’t matter anyway.

Video games are serious business.
But muh esports
It’s not about me caring or not, I already stated I don’t care about 1 second.
I only care about it being fair and seems Enko is right so I’ll just leave it there.
