vale guardian's enrage timer help
I don’t know. I’m sure there will be pugs who complete it eventually but I think the Raids should be done in fill organized group with voice cordination.
Its easier if you have access to voice chat.
There are few post where people are trying to form Raid parties.
If you are too kitteno talk you can always just listen it still helps a lot.
It is puggable as one such group beat it earlier this week.
There’s been a few PUG guardian kills, the problem is it’s very annoying to get a group going without proper LFG support. The squad system is very janky.
I don’t have this problem as I’m in a raid guild but I feel for people.

Clearing the first encounter doesnt mean the raids are PuGable

I never said they were. This thread is about Vale Guardian. The pug group beat Vale Guardian.
I also wasn’t responding to you which may be the reason for the confusion.
Thanks for the replies guys. Still wondering if its a gear check and everyone needs full ascended (mathematically 5% dps increase times 10 people is 50% increase) or if its just people slacking off and exotics are possible? Also any way to check/find out who’s not pulling their weight?

A 5% DPS increase for all 10 people is still a 5% DPS increase for the group.
Think of it this way: if Anet nerfed damage by 12%, would we all be dealing negative damage in raids?

Just double checked the math. If everyone is doing 100 dps, and you increase yours 5% to 105 dps, then that’s 1,005 dps. 1005 / 10 = 100.5 dps so a .5% dps increase. Seems like you’re right
So while I’m sure it doesn’t hurt and may help if you are pushing the boss till the last 5-10% of its hp, don’t think ascended is the answer if my pugs are getting it to 40-50%. Even if a player coughed up a few hundred gold or more to get full ascended at .5% increase it would barely change a thing if even noticable at all.
