Can someone tell me the name of the Dev who create this fractal boss. Seriously i want to know him and shake hes hand. My last try at 46 was a fail:

full PVT ele down from 20k hp to 0 hp in a second when he spawn the lava elemental. I feel like Armor, HP and anything is worthless.

well whit the current (messed) dungeons mechanic now, and this last frustrating fractal the only thing left for me is to farm this new place until the new “happy birthday party whole around until pirates attack again and rinse every 2 week” contents arrive.

At that point in fractals, enemy damage is so high that you will be bowled over no matter what you wear. Whenever you have content where numbers and damage scale upward with every single level, eventually the numbers and damage will overpower regular defenses.

If you want my advice, use an off-hand focus. Swirling winds is epic at the volcano fractal, providing a safe zone for everyone to head to.

i use full zerker, then blow my second set knight and at last i blow my WvW set. i try everything even the focus #4

Edit: I know because I fell asleep for 30 minutes doing it, and we beat it 15 minutes after I woke up. Party not happy.

I can tell you what I do with my ele on shaman that seems to work well all the time on frac 48: I use staff with 0/10/0/30/30 and full beserker gears. I fight normally until close to the shield mark, then I go into air only, to make sure all the other attunements are available. When the shaman shield is up, I cast water 4 underneath it to chill, then switch to earth, roll into the boss to have evasive arcana hit the elementals, pop earth 3 (I use share aura, so my warrior friend can always happily 100blade away), cast all my aoe, switch to fire, pop arcane shield, and cast more aoe in fire, and use fire 4 to get away from the boss. Most of the elementals would have died and the shield is broken by now, and I don’t get downed doing this. Perhaps give that a try (and Im sure there are better ways out there), but at least this has always worked for me

Maybe you could try Sentinel’s armor?

Use tactics. L2dodge. Use other skills. Look up guides.

Try those before complaining while the rest of us laugh our way through shaman @ lvl 79

People like challenges and getting better at the game. That doesn’t happen in low level Fractals.

PVT is kitten… I would never be able to kill him if everyone is wearing PVT

little hint: use reflects^^

you can kill this guy with 5 ele’s pretty faceroll

I think you need coordination with this one, might want to work with the guardian/mesmer in your party, so that they can cast either wall of reflection, shield of the avenger or feedback then you cast 4 air while other people dps lava elementals, after it’s over you can switch to earth 4 then use 5 for more survivability, if done right then I don’t think you’ll die even if you were using zerk
