(In Orr). My immediate reaction is this will be a challenge and a potentially rewarding one. What I get is an easily killed risen giant that probably won’t drop anything. Does everyone else feel this way? Id love for these things to be the walking monsters they look like.

I feel fuzzy when the thief complains they can’t solo them 10 minutes before I beat one up.

Takes about 40 seconds for a thief to take one down

I soil myself and run the other way.

I’ve killed them. They are a pain to kill, didn’t drop anything of worth AND they don’t count towards the giant killer track.

They need to change one of these to make them worthwhile. At this point I go around them.

I find the vets fun, and I’ll go out of my way to kill them. The champs, on the other hand, are too much for me to solo. I like that there exists thing I can’t solo.

I feel annoyed that they don’t count towards the Giant Slayer achievement.

Fairly easy to take down, but after killing a few I won’t even bother tagging them if a group is on them. They are the worst mob for drops in the game.

Same as I feel when I see any risen. Bit of a “here we go again” moment as I look for a way around them.

We talking champ or vet?

I see an opportunity to impress anyone nearby because they’re so big and gnarly looking, but so horribly easy to kill.

I feel a pang of disappointment that they nerfed the grubs a while back, 1 giant + 1 epidemic = ALL OF THE GRUB LOOT

I think “meh, whatever” and ignore it. No point in fighting them anyway.

Pretty much this.

Add to the fact that since they patched champion mobs to always include blue or better rewards I pretty much only get blue stuff from champions and by extension from veterans – if the veteran drops anything at all. Most of the time they don’t

I’ve killed them few times, fairly easy with an Ele, however, stopped becaue they drop jack kitten.

I just run up to them, dodge roll through them and keep running to my destination.

The first one I saw was the Champion Risen Giant walking around by Rally Point. It scared the crap out of me. Now I can solo a regular or veteran giant as a thief, but Champions I still need a lot of help with!

It’s so cemented into my head that it’s a worthless kill that i barely even acknowledge it in my subconscious.

i feel that its a waste of time and run past them

I feel sad for the loss of loot. I remember fighting them and every grub they spawned would drop loot if you killed it.. now it gives absolutely nothing. It was a nice concept at least.

I see a chance at more amazing blue loot!

I don’t even bother using the extra space to walk around them. I simply run straight at him, dodge roll thru him and continue on my merry way.
