Thank you for fixing Jormag.
I can now find wall when I target it, instead of clicking all around or relaying on the auto target.

It also seems the wall goes down a little faster, there seems be more mobs around during the wall, but I will take that if the wall goes down faster.

Don’t you know? MMO players have to abbreviate every single thing in the game — presumably for the sake of convenience — which ends up making everything extremely confusing so that it has to be explained further before half the people reading it understand what it means, thereby decreasing convenience threefold.

And now we’re not even sure if people are calling the Claw of Jormag “Jormag” because they think it’s Jormag the elder dragon, or if it’s just that they’re too lazy to type “Claw of,” or if it’s just that whole “I’m hip because I abbreviate things,” like when you’d watch your younger brother chatting to his friends on MSN back in the day and he would type a sentence out, then backspace it all so he could re-type half the words in abbreviations and acronyms before sending the message.

I can’t target the Claw’s barrier anymore, and it looks like a lot of people are having the same problem, because there are very few bazooka shots flying when it’s up, and the time it takes to kill him has skyrocketed.

You should be able to click on the ‘c’ ‘Corrupted Ice Wall’ to target it.

i just happen to be passing by when i saw the dragon up at another attempt to wreck havoc. heard it was “fixed”. picked up a bazooka, and couldn’t target anything. the wall would still go down eventually, but i wasn’t able to target anything. even ran up with explosives, randomly clicked around the area, etc and nothing. :///

Rizzo seems to be partly right, you have to click-target the wall, but it doesn’t work from just any angle. I’m having the most luck from the left side.

Also just facing it and clicking your auto attack should target it, though sometimes you’ll get a Moa off to the side.

Because so many people shorten it to “Jormag”, I’ve met a bunch of players who actually thought that this is Jormag. Pls shorten it to Claw, to avoid confusion.

It’s not a dragon, it’s a dragon champion. It doesn’t have to have a name, it’s a beast whose existence is meant to be short – one of them dies every three hours.

The event hasn’t been fixed yet and the reason why they have refused to say anything about it is because it’s not a bug from what I can tell. If there are enough people the wall spawns glitched, it’s a scaled-up mechanic it seems. When there are only 5-10 people at the event it spawns perfectly normal.

I will now do something craazzy: Correcting the guys who are correcting the guys who seem to not know that it is not Jormag.

Last night I had a tough time targeting it because people kept running in front of the C. Yeah this needs to be fixed to have a target reticule like the dragons themselves have.

No, i dont give a kitten Like i said, i was correcting the ones who where correcting, simply because they were correcting.
I dont care what people call things in a stupid game.

Some people just need to get a real life.

How about Jormag Jr? Would that make you happy? Calling it Claw would also cause confusion as one of the Koda has that name. Honestly, I think the problem really comes from the “dragon that shoots ice, flies around the whole zone and is way bigger than us,” being the ONLY Jormag you see in the game! I can understand why people think it’s the elder dragon.

Now if they actually showed the elder dragon in the game, we’d have a lot of soiled newbie pants to clean up.

Yeah I’m faulting Anet for naming it Claw of Jormag. The first time I heard the name, I knew this would happen.
