Guild Wars 2

I have only started playing GW2 and think its great. But I have a dynamic event I cannot progress in.

Its is Defend Ulfred until he finds a location for his statue. But the problem is, I meet him on the river bank and he just stays there. He dosent go looking for somewhere to put a statue (lazy so and so)

No matter how long I wait or how many things I kill, it dosent make a difference.

Is this a bug or does it take a few people for the dynamic event to “kick in”. I hope its not the latter because after playing for 5 hours I only saw about 5 or 6 people playing……..not good.

Get used to it. Many dynamic events will become “stuck” and can stay that way until the next server reset, on tuesdays.

You can submit a bug report but chances are it’s going to do nothing.

That’s for your response. If I knew that there was freezing events I would have stayed away from the game. It’s very annoying.

My OCD means I have to wait until Tuesday so to get this menial event completed . LOL.

Not that many DEs are broken. Look around for dead Npcs. Sometimes there is an escort dead and it wont move until his buddy is back up (not always described in the DE)

You are joking, there are very many events that are broken, some barely last 10 minutes after a restart.
