Many veterans in recent days complaining that leveling is hard, annoying, long drawn etc, etc… So I decided to show that you can do it otherwise.

You forgot to include all the hours in PvP.

Why did you not move your bag so that the tomes were in the same place as the Accept button.

This is the most annoying video I’ve seen today.

2 minutes + 200 hours of PvP… possibly the slowest leveling I have ever seen.

Also… MOVE THE TOMES OVER THE ACCEPT BUTTON

Nice job leaving your inventory so far away from the accept button. May as well just do the whole NPE or run a marathon.

Come on dude you did a rather poor job here, you could’ve consumed all those tomes in 1 second with a simple macro!

Oh boy, what a well thought out thread. I bet you think you are perhaps the first person to come up with this “idea” too. Since all vets have played PvP long enough to get many tomes, I am positive your video will come in very handy in showing them how to use it to level up instead of complaining about the recent changes. Tnx.

What a fantastic guide.
It took me a while to understand the process ( i couldn’t figure out how to get past step 1…took me hours of experimenting with different button combos)…but i think i’m there now.

Ummm… shouldn’t the fact that players may now feel compelled to skip the leveling process be proof of how messed up these changes are? The game is short on end game content and, originally, the idea was that via level scaling, the entire game was a form of end game content.

I’ve been testing the NPE this weekend and despite my original plans, I found myself using crafting to skip ahead from 9 to 14 because the gating of Skill Point Challenges was so annoying. The removal of tameable Ranger Pets from the starter zones also led me to rage quit for the evening last night.

What made this game great was the leveling process and all the content you had to level off of. Right now, I can say that the current level 1-20 play experience in GW2 is probably the worst I have ever played in over 20 years, and that includes a lot of games that were complete stinkers.

don’t mind them. They should learn that telling someone their opinion is not always a good thing, even though “I have the right to state my opinion” (nobody cares really).

Tomes are the smallest problem. Normally, it takes me longer to reflect which class/race i want to create next :P Than make new tomes. I used like… 250+ of them (on few characters ofc) and I still have some to use.

hmm nice but as other people have said there are more effective ways of collecting these

nice guide….if you have the tomes in the first place which i don’t have, i don’t play PvP of any kind so i would love to see you repeat that without even one second of PvP….

I’ve actually seen a similar video before, a while ago. That person even also made a thread here iirc, and then showed a video of him using tomes to level up.

Yeah, I’m sure there’s a lot more videos like that. These scrolls are nothing new.
I just saw that many veterans complains about new leveling system, so i decided to show them, that for veterans nothing changed at all, cause leveling still takes around 2 minutes :P
