1. Gold Making technqe
SW chest farm and/or dungeons?
Taking in account that dungeon farming will most likely for most people involve doing it with pugs so you may only do around 1-3 dungeons at the most in 1 hour
Hia there, I was wondering and what do you guys think is the best way to get gold atm in lets say 1 hour?
If matchmaking has properly placed you, you should be winning 50% of your SPVP matches. You gain 30 silver for a win, and 15 for a loss. Matches are 15 minutes. So, assuming 15 minutes of queues, you could expect 67.5 silver per match from the silver rewards alone. In addition to that you’ll be getting reward track progress, which should be 3.375 rewards which should come close to making up the 32.5 silver that you’ll need most of the time.
In addition to that, 15 minutes of queues is a conservative estimate, the average is usually listed as around 2.5 minutes per queue, and not every game lasts for the full 15 minutes, most of the time one of the teams has won before the timer runs out, making it quite possible to have 4, or in some cases 5 games in an hour, increasing the rewards even further.
Path 1 n 2 of Arah will net u 6g+ And loots
Depends on the circumstances but I’d say that top three in gold making is playing market, dungeon running and SW
Work an hour of overtime.
Buy gems.
Convert to gold.

Well this answers the question for what the slowest method for making gold in an hour is…
It’s a medical condition, they say its terminal….
Maize Balm farm. Duh. It still exists, is very easy, and is always going on.

LOL, quite…
Problem is, it’s far too easy to do that, rather than having to endure the little kittens and goldfarmers in dungeons, but it kind of defeats the purpose of playing a game, at all.
Buy everything with RL money, then sit in DR playing a harp.

Hey, it’s an option. It might be the best way if they find it fun. It’s not the fastest, that tends to be mindless farming, which also tends to be boring.
But if you actually think it’s the slowest method, that’s completely incorrect. I earned a whole lot more gold/hour playing pvp than I did working on map completion for instance.
It’s somewhere in the middle. The method that’s best will depend on what aspects of the game the individual enjoys the most. If you don’t enjoy the act of playing something, it defeats the purpose of playing for recreation.

Well it is certainly an option, and it’s good to know that there’s an income from doing PvP. It’s just in 10min you can do an AC path for ~2-3x that money.
It’s a medical condition, they say its terminal….
AC full run. (1.55+0.26=1.81g *3path=) 5.43 gold, excluding drops.
if you are really fast add CoF 1 for an added 1.31 gold.
1 hour a day.
Been There, Done That & Will do it again…except maybe world completion.

Isn’t that a 1/day thing though?
If we’re including 1/day things, the fastest gold/time ratio is probably crafting and selling damask. After trading post fees, it still sells for about 2 gold over what its materials cost. If you can craft a bolt of damask, you should craft a bolt of damask.
RNG Luck seemes to be on my side when chosing Arah reward path in Spvp for some reason. Yday I made 15g from selling sigils, from 2 pvp runs ala 30 mins, from exos that dropped from the champ bags, and before that I got an exo longbow skin that sold for 130g. Yes it is RNG, but doing reward tracks in pvp has its chance to. I also take the same weapon types from the reward boxes to throw in mystic forge for prec chance.
I used to be a power ranger, now not sure anymore
Assuming that you have the more time-consuming materials such as world completion and obsidian shards collected, I’d say that you could craft legendary weapons within an hour. It’s not as great as it once was around last Christmas where some gave a profit of around 900 gold and on the rare occasion just a little over 1K gold.
Prices have dropped due to HoT as precursors are now much cheaper and players also have easy access to obsidian shards from SW. Tier 6 mats are even easier to get now with laurels than they were in the past.
The one restriction that prevents a lot of people from doing this is that you need the initial gold to craft and sell the first legendary. After that, you can keep producing them so long as you have the mats as gold won’t be a factor.

OP asked about in 1 hour, so I assume they are time limited and they want to know how much they can make in their 1hr of play time. But if not, throw in CoF paths, TA paths, CoE, etc. They are all faster than the PvP option.
Also, bolt of damask is a decent option for a 1/day, however your profit fluctuates with silk and linen prices. Some days silk and linen are stupid expensive, other days it is not.

To make gold I run every day AC 1 and 2, SE 1 and 3, and COF 1. Most days if I don’t have anything else to do after that/don’t want to do anything else in game I also run AC 3, COF 2 or 3, HOTW 1 and sometimes COE 1, 2 and 3.
That makes me a LOT of gold, way more than I need to get by and also gives me a nice amount of materials through drops and salvaging. No way could all that be done in an hour, but like people have been saying, running a few of those would be easily possible. I would not recommend AC full run, because of the huge time gate on p3, instead run SE 1 which from my personal experience is the fastest dungeon in the game.
PvE- Grolex (Warrior)
PvP rank: 20 Rating: 1864 (season 7)
Hey don’t rule PvP out completely, on my mission to make rank 80 (almost there ^^) I’ve enjoyed the competitive game mode a lot, gotten quite a bit of money, as well as the fact that I get a lot of extra crafting mats, obsidian shards, clovers, gear that can give you runes like the superior rune of traveler which is like 5g, and I mostly win so that helps a lot as well :P So you cant say its the worst way because you’re at least having fun unlike how farming dungeons can become or farming in general.

If you only have one hour, it also gets dailies naturally in the course of play. PvE dailies require you to go out of your way to complete them.
But ofc pvp isnt near the best way to purely get gold, best would be dungeons or sw farm
Why do we keep spouting this other nonsense? OP asked for fastest. It’s the Maize Balm farm, hands down. Nothing faster, period.
