It’s almost the 1 year anniversary since GW2’s launch.
What do you like that has changed in the last 10 months? What changes do you not like, and what changes would you like to see?

Also for the anniversary event What would you like to see?
I hope that they at least bring free minipets like they did with GW1.

I want Engineers to be able to hide our hobo sacks, and for 100B to be fixed.

EDIT: Other than that, not much. Just give us some solid content that doesn’t suck, is enjoyable and won’t be temporary.

Announcing an cantha expansion and crystal desert would be the best gift for the players!

I want a Birthday Present for my characters that reach a year old, with a rare chance at a Minipet Claim Ticket.

They are going to double the chances of a skin/ticket from a RNG box to celebrate, so from no chance to 1 in a million…

It’ll be fun whatever happens I’m enjoying the game more with each patch, can’t wait for skypirates, if I can’t get those goggles I will scream.

Just hope all the bugs are fixed by then, we can but hope.

Hopefully a big celebration in LA. Everyone who attends should receive an achievement and exclusive gift that allows the user to choose a weapon skin ticket from a previous event.

ArenaNet should be congratulating US for staying with them for a full year so the players should be handsomely rewarded.

Closing in on one year and look at all that new, permanent world content?!?!? Ummm…yeah… That looks to be a year well spent…

On the plus side, the content the game shipped with has provided even more game time than I optimistically imagined prior to launch. The downside is that the promise to double or triple the number of DEs in the game world never materialized.

They have made improvements to PvP and WvW, I don’t want to downplay that. However progress on story and world PvE expansion have been pretty much non-existent.

That was the point of my thread. They spent the first 6 months setting the scene so to speak in regards to just developing the world and letting things build upon themsleves…

The second 6 months has been Living Story, which I believe is a tool to introduce large content such as map expansion. What better way to make a TRUE living world other than an evolving storyline that develops a chain of events and back story leading to major content?

I can EASILY see this culminating on our 1 year anniversary with an expansion into the Sea of Sorrows! Just read my thread for the supporting evidence!
