I wonder what the rewards will be for 100% Elona map completion. In previous expansion and core game one of the rewards was a “Gift of Exploration” or “Gift of Maguuma” which were used in making one legendary weapon respectively.

However in this expansion there is no new legendary weapon tied to Elona exclusively. Wouldn’t be cool if they let us choose between a Gift of Exploration (Kryta) or a Gift of Maguuma (Heart of Thorns) at 100% Elona Completion and be able to craft whatever legendary weapon we wanted?

Many players have already done tons of times the 100% World Completion for core game and Heart of Thorns. By this method I believe they will get an extra motive to go for another world exploration and dive into legendary crafting again.

I just wish they would let me do something els with all these Gifts of Exploration besides crafting legendaries with them.. one was enough.

I came up with a bunch of ideas for their use ages ago. I don’t remember many of them now, but something appropriate like Everlasting Road Marker banners, maybe an item that temporarily allows players to use your commander tag as a waypoint, or an item that can unlock all core waypoints for a new characters.

There’s plenty of fun things that could be done with them I think, and would further encourage players onto old maps to gain these gifts.

Craft legendaries for your friends. They supply the tradeable mats plus some gold; you supply the account bound gifts and clover.

Don’t have any friends? No problem. Pop over to the GW2 Exchange. Plenty of folks willing to spend 350-600 gold to avoid completing maps and gathering dungeon tokens.

Some of the best runes in the game can only be obtained from those “useless” exotics.

Maybe several years ago, none of them have much value nowadays.
