Q:
100% completion do it as 80?
A:
I have well over 500g + dusk, and thanks for your input
As Slark says above, with that much gold…just craft up to 80, shouldn’t take more then a day. . . map completion should be a breeze.
you could do it slightly faster at 80, but it will still take time. Just have fun with it, best way to pass the time imo.
I’ve done map completion three times now, and I’m leaning towards crafting to 80. 100% world completion isn’t fun anymore to me. It takes me 15 minutes per crafting and currently I’m at lvl 20 so about 2 hours to hit 80. Anybody else have opinions?
As someone who has tried map completion as I lvl up, it’s not as worth it. I will usually outlvl the rewards for that area before completing it and end up just moving to the next lvl area. Get as far as you can with map completion for each area, but continue moving on. Once you get to lvl 80, finish up what was left over.
I would not craft to 80 because that is a lot of extra waste. Where are you doing to get your mats to take all crafts to 400 so you can reach 80? You going to waste extra time farming mats or money to do it?
If you already have the mats of can afford them I recommend crafting to 40-50. This way you can open up 2 trait lines up to the 20 point mark right away. Then head to the Towns, then 1-15 zones, then 15-25’s….and work your way up from there. You should remain well ahead of the curve as long as your doing your storlines along the way.

I’d say its more enjoyable to do it as you go through the zones while leveling. But thats just me. I’d rather be a completionist while leveling, it seemed a bit easier. And I hit 80 really quickly regardless, not even 50% through the world map.
That said, doing it after 80 will no doubt be faster. But it will probably be kind of a drag I would think (stuff being really easy to kill, etc), really depends on the person.
thanks guys for your inputs I’m going to just craft to 80 and breeze through
