Yes, it’s been done to death.

But now I know why it’s frustrating. Two years plus (yes, I know), I decided to get off my rear end and explore the whole map. At first, I enjoyed it. Lovely vista’s, exotic waypoints etc.

Then.

And I knew it would come to this at some point.

WvW stuff.

Pure frustration. I won’t be bothering with world map completion any time soon and yes, it’s my loss. I’m in the camp that thinks this should avoid any PvP, WvW etc. despite what others may think. My opinion and apologies, pure venting..

Checked your post history and saw you’re on TC.

Last times TC has held the following colors:

Red: Aug 30 – Sept 6
Blue: Currently hold this week
Green: Sept 13 – Sept 20

Just get the stuff that your realm always holds and then wait for the color to change the next week or whatever the current interval is .. its easy this way.

However, beware that a tournament is currenlty active and there are some unfair matchups going on right now, for example our current matchup:
- Jade Quarry 300k points
- Fort Aspenwood 96k points
- Megumma 45k points

I don’t agree with it, but its just how it is.

If you’re on TC, aren’t you on a decent server?

I just jump on the map, look for what we have and run over and grab it. Occasionally I’ll get in a zerg and grab something with them. Unless you are in one of the problem servers it’s quite doable.

There’s always suicide runs into places. As long as I get the poi I don’t care.

Party up with a friend or 2 if you can. It’s a lot easier that way.

I’m on a mid-range server (Gate of Madness) and have done it twice already, once with a Mesmer and once with a Necro. It’s really not that hard at all.

As has been said just watch the rotation. I am on JQ (so the same tier), have played less than 2 years, am not a regular WvW player (although I do run with guildies occasionally), and have completed mapping 7 times.
