I hope you guys lowered drinking 10,000 drinks for winters presence, that just seems like overkill. ive read up on how to do the shoulders and every single person complaining about this for a longtime “to many drinks” “that’s an insane amount” and etc….

If you still need winter´s presence, that one won´t be lowered. But you don´t need to do the 10K drinks during wintersday, you can continue drinking after the holidays.

If they do have new collections for this year, I do hope it´s not as tedious.

The 10,000 drinks achievement is active all year round, so it wont be lowered otherwise it will be unfair to those have been at it since last Wintersday.

Hopefully they have learned from the overwhelming feedback of last year and Halloween to not make festivals about excessive material grinds

After Halloween this year, expecting any significant change at all to Wintersday is…optimistic.

It’s not that insane of amount and pay homage to the GW1 achievement. You have to realize that not all achievements are required to be done with little effort and that the total cost is comparable to other auras.

What if Wintersday drinks dropped 10 times less often and they required 1,000 drinks instead? That probably would have resulted in higher costs that today.

10k is only a lot if you try to grind them out yourself, rather than (a) use coin to get most of them or (b) don’t rush.

The short of it is that no one “needs” Winter’s Presence — it’s a luxury aura and, as Ayrilana points out, its cost is comparable to that of other premium ‘skins’.

If I got it done during wintersday, then it shouldnt even be an issue right now since OP had an entire year

I hope they don’t lower it. I spent a lot of coin over 6 months to get the additional 5000 I needed once Wintersday was over. Bought a few every day.
