After all the wailing and gnashing of teeth, the demand for SAB has only brought it back for 19 days?? How long until the next time we’re able to see it again?

I wouldn’t mind so much if I knew it was going to be a regular thing, but because we’ve waited ~2 years for this, I’m pretty ticked off that it’s only available for 19 days.

How about just be happy it’s here…..

Don’t worry. They nerfed the rewards to so you’ll be able to play as much as you can, but not get as much. That way you’ll still have plenty to do the next time it’s released (probably a few days after some major announcement that gets a lot of people angry).

I am happy it’s here, absolutely ecstatic that it’s here. I’m mad about the fact that we only get it for 19 days when we’ve been begging for it for 2 years.

The only festival that ever lasts that long is Wintersday, and that’s probably just to account for peoples’ more hectic schedules around the holidays, both the players and Anet themselves.

19 days is a pretty long time. Definitely long enough for everyone to have a go at it, and get their achievements. It’s really not quite as farm-able as the last time around, so I suspect the novelty will wear off in a week or so anyway.

this is very clearly a complaint about not getting it (for very long)

While I myself don’t agree with the complaint, this is only a case of “darned if they don’t”.

This means that our Spring content/balance patch is only 19 days away.

19 days but it will now be an annual event. This is the kind of content we will be getting between LS instances and expansions I’m betting. “Cheap” to do but at least something to do if you’re interested.

I’m glad to see it back, but I’m a little irritated that it’s overlapping with the pvp leagues for the entire 19 days. It seems like they could have afforded to be a bit more generous with the timing, given the conflict and how long it’s been. That being said, I gladly admit that I was wrong in my prediction that it would never return.
