Can’t log into the game, but what is Ambient Killer?
Ambient killer is any creature of tyria like rabbits, sheep, whatever, that isn’t a mob. The natural life of the world that is non threatening. Basically Arenanet wants to kitten off PETA :P
I don’t understand why they can’t just let us choose from all the dailies. Why is it still randomized? I thought we were supposed to be able to choose whatever we want, but it’s still limited and randomized daily, even if there are more than 5 to choose from now.

After you complete 5 dailies for your reward you can still do the others for xp.
Having maybe 50 or how many options may make leveling too easy or something.
I gave up on ever crafting a Legendary. Best decision ever.

To spice things up a bit, I guess. Yea, you can spice things up by choosing different dailies from a fixed list of choices too but personally, I like the idea of having to guess what’s on the menu for today rather than knowing the exact same menu everyday and choosing what you prefer to do every single day from that fixed list.

Because they want to add variety. Having the same daily’s every day to chose from is monotonous. They want to urge players to try the different content out, because most people get stuck in a place (Maw,Dragons) and never leave. Same goes for 1 chest a day, people just farming the same event a thousand times to get a rare is bullkitten. At least now people get decent drops every time. They don’t want to force people to play the game the way they want, but the game itself NEEDS people to be exploring it to give it that “living feel”. When you run around in an MMO you WANT to see people, you do NOT WANT to see no one, then go to Maw and see an entire server of 80’s camping it. They will fine tune it later on to make it more manageable and take the players ideas into consideration in doing so. But we as a gaming community sometimes need a push to help us play the game it was meant to be. Its not perfect, and no game is, but they are taking steps, leaps, and bounds to make GW2 more amazing than the games before it. Be optomistic.
Today is the best set of daily options they’ve had since they started this randomized nonsense. It’s the first time in almost 2 months I haven’t had to go out of my way to get it done and actually completed it playing as I enjoy.
