Just some stuff from GW2 Wiki what was supposed to be “Upcoming changes”

New legendary weapons
New precursor acquisition methods.
New weapon types and expansion of current weapon types to more professions
Character progression, new professions and races.
.

Just don’t take this post as a bad thing, just mentioning some of the stuff that are not added in game so far after 2 years

Yes, There were things “achieved” (New regions & Dragons, Ascended Trinkets & what so called balance)

But really, no new in-depth progression. Something we can play for quite some time rather than REPEATING private living word story instances or the 3 MAP areas recently opened.

The main concept “GUILD WARS” itself has not been achieved im sorry to say so.. There are no Guild Halls, There are no “Private Guild wVw” for example.
No race changes, no race added, no new professions.

I am an old fan of Guild Wars, and the reason why you MIGHT find some of the player base still compare Guild Wars to Guild Wars 2 is because we are old players of the game

I’m not Obsessed , I’m POSSESSED!

Just wanted to point out.

  • Gw1 Release: April 2005
  • Factions: April 2006 (Bring 2 new classes and entire new world map. Amazing new pvp/factions)
  • Night Fall: October 2006 (2 new more Classes and yet another new world Map)
  • Hard Mode: April 2007 (Making old content repeatable, thus nothing needed more maps)
  • Eye of the North: August 2007 (New dungeons and Zones)
  • All of these ^ had new Quests, missions, armors, Weapons, and awesome story.

Guild Wars 2

  • South Sun Cove
  • Dry Top
  • A few new healing skills
  • Fractals
  • 1 Dungeon path
  • LS content that is gone

Yep, coming form GW1, it’s just sad. The excuses that it is long and hard and takes time blabla. I can’t take that anymore. It’s just misconception and mismanagement that led to this abomination of ‘additional content’.

‘would have/would’ve been’ —> correct
‘would of been’ —> wrong

Thats counted in temp LS. If you added all the temp content together (This is my numbers) I’d guessing I had about 50 hours at MAX.

Where I know for sure factions gave me at least 1,500 hours easily in 6months.

I only played Gw1 proph for a couple months causal before factions came out, then I got my ritualist that became my main and I had 4k hours on it. NF was Amazing, but I think Factions and eotn were my fave.
