2015-ArenaNet Newyears Resolution
I’m sure they are working. But probably not at the rate “some” of the players expected.
So they rather not say anything, because they just haven’t even get things finish in alpha stage yet.
They really can’t promise people anything if they havn’t even gotten the content into early alpha or testing phase.
They were back in the days. And that just gave them more grieve than the current situation.

Once upon a time there was a company called Blizzard. Frankly enough, the company had a forum, very simliar to the one we have, with people complaining all the time about how bad WoW is and how much it would if the devs listened. At that time, Blizzard staff used to commment alot and in some cases arguments started between devs and players where the devs tried to prove why the players are wrong and why their suggestions can’t improve the game. Now, these cases eventually lead to a bigger issue where people started to complain as to why Blizzard staff ’’insult’’ players by telling them indrectly they are ’’stupid’’ instead of listening to them.
Shortly afterwards, Blizzard stopped commenting on the forums and went on with a simliar style to Anet where they only announce stuff when they are ready and they mostly announce them at events where there is no go-back. Since that day the complaints went on, with players saying that alot of the game’s features weren’t good. Blizzard however seemed to realize that it doesn’t matter how much they do, players will always complain and therefore they should just go on with their plans.
Did Blizzard always make the right decisions? no, they made alot of mistakes and WoW isn’t close to perfect however they did their job, developing an MMO by using their own concepts and getting suggestions from players in an in-direct way as the direct way of communication seemed to never do the company justice.
My GW 2 2015 Resolution: To not spend my GW 2 money to fuel money-making crafting projects that leave me with the same amount of GW 2 money that I had when I first started.

I still remember back in the day where I spend hours complaining why pvp players have to grind 10 hours a day for months to get the best gear, while pve players can do it easily in raids.
Diablo 2 head made some pretty heated comment that angry many players.
But the thing to me is eventually Blizzard turn things around and address almost all the players concern.
I personally dont’ think the developer need to give too much head up if they havn’t getting things in at least alpha or beta testing phase. If anet havn’t release any information I just assume they havn’t getting things in alpha/beta stage yet.
For their new year’s resolution, community leads at ArenaNet informed our interviewers that nothing was off table just yet!
“In fact, we haven’t been able to have our meals on it for months now,” assured a very ecstatic living story writer, “The custodians should probably do something about it.”
Other members of the Anet staff shared similar sentiments on the past year in review. “Everyone talks about it, but it’s hard to just eat your takeout at your desk,” reports one designer, “there’s only so much space, and the keyboard and post-its keep getting in the way.”
When asked about what the community will look forward to in 2015, WvW developer Devon Carver said they weren’t ready to make any announcements just yet, but was happy to say that plans to clear the table were under way.
“A lot of the finer details are still being ironed out in community discussions, and we still have to work out where we’re gonna store all this stuff at,” said Carver solemnly over a debate of whether they could move some of the things into the intern’s closet or not. “We can’t say too much to spare our players from any false sense of commitments. Things are still very subject to change, that’s development after all”
For WvWers, ArenaNet was happy to announce the forthcoming “Spring Cleaning” tournament. Based off past iterations, players of Guild Wars 2 should know what to expect from the popular game mode, as the series will begin in February and last until spring break.
“We’ll probably clear out some of the table before my vacation in that time, but for now, there’s plenty of bags to pack. All in all, a work in progress.”
