Earlier this year, Anet stated that a means to getting the Ghastly Grinning Shield was accidentally included in a patch via the mystic forge. However, I believe that ability has been removed. Can anyone confirm this? Also, is there no new way to obtain this shield in 2016? Thank you everyone.

This is something I’ve been trying to find out. The wiki has a page stating you can get the skin from the forge but it’s a page you have to know about to find (if not you just end up on the original grining shield page )

Hmm. That page hasn’t been edited since April 25th, 2016. Which is 2 days after it was created, during the time of the accidental release of content.

I don’t think the Wiki helps us, in any way, to determine if the shield still drops.
