We have a crazy competition in our guild of who can achieve the most fall damage. I just hit 21 mil, but my question is, what is the holo dragon nearby? I’m in a valley under “Silent woods” I dropped from a tree near the POI.

It’s possible to climb to the top of the guilded hollow and jump to the ground level. This might hit harder.

My guild built a staircase to the top. Whisper me in game if you want to try it.

One of the Lw3 story missions was likely active.

Aurene has a habit of randomly showing up. I noticed it I carry the portal stone that goes to her and I do not go visit her for a very long time. She will tend to send me random holographs of her and my character will make an off hand comment on needing to visit her this has happened to me twice.

Now that I know why I saw the holo-dragon, I might not finish that part of the story. I like her appearing. If I had a wish, it would be to bring Taimi to the egg chamber, and let her and Aurene, play.

That’s the kind of tiny detail that I LOVE this game for. ^^

Does anyone know if taking off your armor affects how much damage you take?

It shouldn’t, since its % based. Having lots of HP might make it higher.

Probably can reach higher than you if I go warrior and sentinel armor, but would I really wanna do that??Hmmm.

I remember that i could easily pass 20 million mark in the Silverwastes cavern area (the region near the skritt ship).

Never thought that anyone else would do this.
Edit: 27,399,496 is the highest i reach in bloodstone fen with shaman equip.

pretty sure you can get the biggest fall damage in the primordus volcano instance, landing on the battle platform after opening all passages

Try in S3 ep 5 Flashpoint.
Chapter “Heart of the volcano”.
Then try to remove the last anchor and jump from the first place ( maybe 2 players required cause i am not sure that after the last anchor is destroyed there will still be air to return on the top ).

Yes, there still is updraft everywhere to get back to the very top. Definitely gives you the highest / longest fall in the whole game.

Right. I tried a leap from the cannopy in VB last night. I was falling for ages and thought “this will give me awesome sauce damage!” I landed in a mangled heap somewhere but… but… where was the damage number? It didn’t display any where! Gutted.

I’m sure it would have been something like 357.000,000 ot something. Give or take. I’m not even exaggerating. Well, maybe a bit but it was a long drop.
