I’m still on first screen (not the fancy login one). Is this happening to anyone else?

I saw this post, realized there was a patch, and from clicking the GW2 icon on my desktop to patching to getting in game was under 60 seconds. So … didn’t happen to me. I’m sorry it’s hanging up for you

im in the first screen too same problem…

same problem- internet is working fine and fast

gets stuck at 0kb/s multiple times on the initial screen then eventually goes to connection errors detected retrying and sits there for several minutes

tried starting it over 3 or 4 times now same thing

When this happens to me (not in this patch), I just switch language and restart the client.

I have had this in previous patches. In the end I had to just let the thing sit while I browsed forums and played solitaire until it finally broke loose. Restarting never worked.

I’m also having problems with the game updating, noooooooo idea what the problem is.

Took me literally 2-3 seconds to patch. ;/

bite me I been trying to get in for an hour now

The patch took 2 minutes for me.
I live in California so that might has something to do with it? O.o

It took me HOURS lol

But on balance, it’s probably worth it to live out in the sticks where I get to have these
