2nd Elite Spec Weapon Collection
Definitely better this time around from what I have seen, but definitely could use some more tweaks in my opinion, heres hoping they make even more improvements with the 3rd Expac
I’m still wondering why the items have such weird stats [like Healing Power on an item for the Warrior spec]
I’m still laughing at the second Sohothin Anet made. It used to be exclusively for GW1 players that made a certain Hall of Monument points. And now another model has been datamined that looks more flashy. And presumably it will be a gemstore skin. Like a big “screw you” to the first game players. Dulfy has posted on her site along with other new skins. There is also a chat code for it: [&Ci0dAAA=]
Hmmm, that pretty much is just a nicer Sohothin… Maybe it’s Rytlock’s.

Or maybe, like with the Caithe missions in LW Season 2, we have to play AS Rytlock in the mists to find out what happened to him, and we get to use it there.

Since it doesn’t stow correctly (it’s blade up, grip down when stowed) and is classified as a Bundle, I really don’t think there’s any ground to presume it’s going to be a gemstore skin, or even an actual weapon skin at all…
It seems they finally updated Sohothin to match Magdaer’s model from the Ascalonian catacombs story mode so now they are actually twins as the lore states. Actually if you look close at the scene in the pof trailer you can see Sohothin uses this model. So maybe since they updated Sohothin and gave it a better look, they should update the fiery dragon sword model to match since they are suppose have been made in the twins’s image, this would also keep the exclusiveness of the hom skin therefore no need to worry about people running around with a purchased better version of a skin you had to actually earn.

IIRC, all the random collection-based accessories that dropped for the HoT elite spec weapons were all a single random stat set as well, not specially tailored per profession. Could be the same case here.

So that, after you go through all this to get a skin, you wind up with a weapon you may not want. To get the one you want, you still have to craft it. Gotta keep that economy rolling along, after all.
delicate, brick-like subtlety.
