Who else is super excited for the 30th patch? I hear it’ll have MASSIVE balancing compared to previous months. I also heard Rangers will be addressed for once.

I’m definitely excited for the ranger, since that’s one of my mains. I’ll be happy to see the back of some cantrip eles too. And as a mesmer, I’m not particularly bothered by the nerf to condition damage.
Sometimes I wish I didn’t have an 80 of every class, because inevitably there will be stupid PvP changes that make one of my PvE characters less fun for no reason. This time it’s elementalist. So I’m not really excited.
they promised big rangers changes before and failed to deliver so don’t expect much
They’ve said so far, and it’s confirmed that pet AI has been worked on and that pets will get an increase to vitality and toughness. That alone is pure win.

I m playing only dungeons atm….and i think its not enough :|
So i am glad to get a new dungeon but i really really hope they won t ruin anything else.
GW2 balance:
A PvE player is supposed to avoid a 1-2 second 1 shotting aoe.
A WWW player is considered uncapable of avoiding a 5,75 second aoe for half his health.

Learn to adapt. If you’re going to stop playing parts of the game because you can’t make a build that works…I don’t know what to tell you. Adapting is part of all MMOs. Every single one of them has nerfs. These aren’t even that bad, compared to what you see in some games.
I’ve never seen Anet release patch notes in advance. I’d like to think it’s because they’re working on them up to the last minute, but I’m more likely inclined to think that when the patch comes out, more people will be playing the game, and so the noise generated by the forum will be seen by less people.

well they released it advance for 26 march 2013 patch notes.
I’m super excited also. So glad I now have Tuesdays off starting this week! New dungeon, buffed thief , I’m ready to roll!!! I am sad though that the Ele is getting hit hard with no aperant buffing. I mean, I leveled an Ele and hated playing him because I thought he was weak in comparison to all my other characters, and now they’re getting gutted some more. I’d like to see more people playing them and doing well.

You do know that they are splitting skills for PvE/WvW/PvP starting now, right?
