I’m slowly making they way up to the fractals and I’m about to hit lv 10. At the same time I have 35 laurels to spend.

I’m wondering if I should buy an ascended accessory with the laurels and buy an ascended ring farming fractals once I reach fractal level 10.. or if I should buy the ascended ring with the laurels since the ring has better stat than the accessory…

Any suggestion?

Not only that, but the Rings drop as loot in lvl 10+ Fractals, and Infused versions of them drop in 20+(?) so it’s a complete waste of a very limited currency (Laurels). Imagine spending the Laurels, and then going to the time, effort and expense of Infusing it, only to have an Infused Ring drop a week later. No thanks.

Yeah as Sokar said, spending laurels on Rings is a real waste of a very valuable currency. Just play some fractals and once experienced you will get the rings in no time (and potentially a bank full) just from doing level 10 daily.

Amulet/Accessory

but the ring drops are random right? so wouldn’t buying the type you want be better?

Its random to get them quickly , you have a chance at the end of every 10+ Daily fractal. But after 10 you will have 10 pristine fractal relics which you can buy whichever one you want.

if you got 1 of them exotic and the other rare, go for the one you got as rare… otherwise look at the comments above (personally i can’t advise as still lvl 2 xD)

In addition dailies are not account bound but per character and for each “tier” (10lvls): say you have 2 characters. A is personal reward lvl 30, B is lvl 20.
On A, do Fractal lvl 10, then 20, then 30 => 3 pristine + 3 ring drop chance.
On B, do Fractal lvl 10 then 20 => 2 pristine + 2 ring drop chance.
So in this example you could get 5 pristine relic each day.

Get the amulet first, since it can only be bought with laurels (not really sure, but i didnt find it anywhere else)
Accessories can be bought with guild commendations – doing guild missions -, but I’d spend laurels on them
Rings? No. Just do FotM

Too bad I can’t sell pristine fractal relics, I have 50 of them and nothing to spend them on lol.

A major reason why the pristine fractal relics were introduced. Despite players who played fractals for a while having a bank full of rings, pristines allow you to buy the ones with the stats you want.

However, if you don’t like fractals (and I most certainly don’t).. get the Amulet, then accessories, then rings.

Obsidian Shards might also be a possibility if you’re going for a Legendary.

You don;t necessarily get them that quickly from drops, its RNG.

If you do fractals getting ring is pointless, I’m at lv 32 of fractals now and I have ~20+ rings I don’t need.
