Hello, for some unknown reason i wasn´t able to join ranked arena and then my chat stopped working. So I wanted to restart my game and it started downloading a 3gb patch.

My friends and teammates don´t have to download this and I am wondering what is going on. I have been logging in everyday since last official patch so what is this about?

That is odd though. There are no patch notes on anything new either.

Sounds like the clientside data file got corrupted and failed a checksum test. The client is redownloading the corrupted bits.

It sucks, but it should be fine once it finishes.

maybe there should be an ingame warning, so you are not forced to download 3 gb (1 hour) before a tournament or during a tournament.

Well…you were forced to download because you changed the language. Odds are that meant the game needed to download the localization files for the UI and items.
