Gotta say fellas, great gifts this year, loved the scrolls like always, since i make alts quite often, and the dyes are amazing (free shadow dyes for everyone!)
the backpacks are well animated and have unique flair to them
That being said, My favorite backpiece sits extremely far off the back of my character, while all the others are nice and flush
That’s more a problem with back items in general on certain bodies than these particular back items. The back item placement seems to be based on the largest body type, so if you pick a slimmer body they’ll often float to varying degrees. Depends somewhat on the back item itself as well, as some are larger than others or have parts that sit partially into the character (on the largest) which makes them seem more connected on smaller bodies.
Its definitely most noticeable on Charr, due to the hunched back and the fact that they seem to have more variance in body size than other races.
Anybody else think that the Black Citadel Engine (one of the new 4th birthday achievement backpacks) doesn’t look very good on Charr? Presumably this should be the race it is “designed” for, but it looks very small on them and just kinda hovers on the round part of your back.
This happens with various backpacks, which is kittened since some have been out for a while now and they’ve made 0 efforts of fixing this horrendous bug (Karka back piece for example). Same thing happens with most, if not all, gliders on Asuras.
