How much you want to bet today’s update included more than the price of cow pies? Cow pies – BuWahaha.

Cow pies are important! They feed beetles…. and worms….. and grass and…. and…. and…. and other things.

I’m sure people were lining up to buy them so a quick fix of the vendor price was important.

There is a certain wicked irony about the update – I like it. It shows ppl are having fun – gods I hope they are….

I’m glad I’m not the only one who read the update note and thought, “I really want to know the story behind that one.”

Perhaps, it was the trophy used in the Legendary journey that was selling for way more than it was supposed to.

I was having visions of cow pies being a weapon in WvW and zergs carrying stacks of them to have cow pie fights with other zergs.

It seems my dreams were dashed to the ground, with a nasty splat.

I just downloaded the patch, and all I get is the two pre-downloads (which never show files, just a KB countdown, and the ‘Initializing’ (which seems to be another download [according to my download meter]). Then the log-in screen appears with the green bar full, and the log-in button ready to press. Again, odd.

Strange. Mine initialized for a while then downloaded the files mentioned (and I was on playing just a couple of hours ago so it was current)

Edit: how fast is your download ability? Mine is not very fast. Maybe a fast download would get it done by the time you reach the log in screen?

Hmm. I get that (the no files) somewhat regularly with the small hot-fix patches. And my client is current as I log in multiple times daily (almost always).

Back to using the Cattlepult

I am suspicious of this “cow pie” patch…it’s taking rather long to download just for a vendor price.

Strange for me it was 73Files with 140+ to 150+ Mb which is sad, because it took almost 2h to download. (I noticed a few updates ago, that I[with extremely slow internet 1Gb/8h] have to download the same amount of files, but with almost double the size)

Wow. I feel left out! My download took about 10-15 seconds.

Do certain accounts get files others do not?

Back to using the Cattlepult

Cowpies would have been great for Zerg vs Zerg combat, but the Cattlepult is useful for defending forts and castles.

I reported this exploit probably at least 6 months ago as Kudzu was the first precursor collection I completed after HoT launched. I’m surprised it took them this long to do anything about it. I explained in detail what it could be used for, including math on gold per hour, etc.

I tested it with about a gold’s worth of cow pies to see if it worked and then quickly deleted them, fearing the mighty hammer of ban from Big Brother Chris Cleary. Is this what has had the price of everything skyrocketing lately? A mass of people taking advantage of this? If so, it could have easily been prevented. Check your report records :/

You can’t transfer gold or items out of f2p accounts to your main account. If anyone wants to transfer gold/items they’ll have to convert it to a paid account first (which costs money).

One of the reasons I never bothered to make a f2p account. They are locked up tight, as well as restricted on the trading post as well as chat. I could just see getting my one and only precursor drop, and being unable to send it to my main account or sell it and send the gold.

I asked 4 of my guild mates to scout around to all the farms where cows are located in Queensdale and Diessa Plateau as shown on wiki and none of us could find a single one on the ground. Tried using cattle prods to jolt some loose from whatever cows I could find. Killed around 40 to see if it would drop from there corpse, even tried seeing if it was something I could buy from the heart npc’s. It seems my legendary Journey is halted all because I can’t find some literal crap in the game

I sent in a ticket earlier today, but so far no reply.

Anyone else stuck on this collection since the patch yesterday?

Aren’t you supposed to get them from the Hidden Garden? It’s the Trophy found there, not the Bundle found elsewhere, I believe.

Ahh, my bad. Can’t say I’ve seen any cows in Mount Maelstrom, anyway. Lol.

I’m also having the same problem, have been looking for 2 days and could not find and cow pie’s, this is a HUGE problem because now i’m stuck in my Legendary Achievement

Have the same problem. Last ( Cow ) piece i need to complete kudzu 3
Been looking for 4 days now it seems like it disapeared from the game.
