Daily and monthly achievement rewards now include Essence of Luck. To offset this, the amount of karma earned from daily and monthly achievements has been reduced.

Karma was given out too much anyways. Magic find however is much more useful.

the daily gave way too much karma. 10 events worth about, more with karma buffs that every smart person used before chugging.

And it gives essences? that’s way better than karma. I had millions of karma that did nothing until I dumped it in the jewelry box drain.

They are trying to make karma more valuable. expect to see increase karma prices and decreased karma drops throughout the game.

Go do some events. They are what gives the best karma. Things are back as they should be in the world of karma.

With nothing valuable to buy with it of course.

(even more so now that exotic weapons are junk)

that is about 200g-300g worth of karma. To say it is useless is just not true.

not sure what to tell you. if you really started with 5.5mil karma that would buy you ~1200 boxes. redrinking the karma leaves you with about a 75% return on the karma…

rinse and repeat for an absurd number of boxes. I’d say on the order of ~7000 boxes.

you’d get about 100g just from selling the junk items.

Except the problem with your statement is that each ascended recipe costs 21k karma. It’s not a big deal for people like me considering I have 4.1 million + karma but for most new players that may be a huge problem.

Also unless indicated otherwise magic find still doesn’t apply to chest drops, which is where all the rarest items are found so the stat is still not too useful.

you also get much less karma from dungeons too.
