You are one lucky sob. I bought exotics before when they were expensive at 2.5g each (1000g in total) thought I would get 2-3 precursor and make money lost it all. Should’ve just bought precursor straight up. Anyways if you don’t mind me asking did you do 4x same weapon types or 4 random combination?

You have no idea how loot computations work if you think devs rely solely on a RNG to determine what outputs. There are more factors than just a random number. This much should have been abundantly clear with the fact a Diminishing Returns system exists. And as we all know, taking time off is the only sure-fire way to kick DR off your account, so his question was perfectly sound.

People in my guild have logged in after 3 months, and instantly gotten dusk, 20g jewellery, entropy on day 2 of champ loot, after 1 bag, all after 5 minutes of logging in. Other people have many other examples, and it is definitely not tin foil hat worthy.

Dangle the carrot in front of the donkey already playing, he’ll get the carrot eventually.
THROW the carrot at the speed of a professional pitcher to the prodigal donkey, and hope he stays with his new found epic item.

Anyway im alreydi take 7 commanders. all bags slots for 7 scharters and 2000 gems and have 150 gold now =))))

What level exotics did you throw in?

1400G on exotics here. 1 Legend, 1 Lover. The rate isn’t as high as many like to think, but RNG will be RNG

Also I posted the above since 2 of my very close friends both took a 1 month+ break. came back and threw 4 exotics in the forge, guess wat? both got a precursor on their first try.
While I cannot prove this always works, taking a long break and returning seems to improve the odds significantly.
Getting 7 precursors is just insane, as more than 95% of the game population playing since beta havent even seen a single one drop.

Not only that, but looking at op’s screen shots, having maxed out bag slots on the character suggests that he is a gem buyer also, which improves the chances of getting good loots significantl.

Rng is RNG… nothing more or less.

I’ve played since the first Beta weekend. I stopped playing about 8 months ago, started playing a few weeks ago and i’ve been doing MF and champ bags and not a single thing that’s worth anything. I got cobalt last night that sells for a big 5g.

OK, I was envious of the OP, so I decided to try my luck and bought 500 (rare) great swords, and what do you know, got Dusk and Dawn within 400ish swords.

5x hammer, 3x longbow
some days later i took 1000 exotics and threw them in, without any precursor

anyway, i stopped gambling with the mystic forge.
only threw greens into it, not rares or exotics.

i rely on the chests and drops for anything good.

Took a 4 month break. Dropped exotics into the mystic forge. Got garbage :P RNG is RNG

I hope I get that lucky some day so I can have the satisfaction of deleting all of them.

Sorry to break your heart but OP is a liar. The real lucky kitten got 3 precursor from exotics(Legend,Zap,Hunter) and 1 precursor from rare(howl). As you can see his first images which are by original lucky guy has no censorship, the second however does. Guys op is a liar, someone else got lucky even though its a little less not 7 precursor. Check reddit thread corresponding to imgur image you shall see.
