So I messed up. I wanted a new class so I leveled all crafting to 400. I forgot to level to 20 first as those levels are quick. So now im on lvl 72. No tomes. Is there a quick way to hit 80?. Should I do high or low level areas.

Dungeons

Pre-HoT, you could get 8 levels in EOTM pretty quickly (a few hours, with boosters). I haven’t played EOTM since then, so I’m not sure if it’s still the way to go or not. Maybe worth looking into, though.

Do CoF story, then Eotm til 75, then CoF 1 + 2. Eotm til 79, finally CoF 1 til 80. You could do the fractal adept daily, that’s a gauranteed tome.

I recommend EOTM, even after the “nerf” you should be able to grab decent levels with a good train going with the following items:

• Any type of food (10% XP)
• Any type of Utility food (10% XP)
• Guild potion boosts (mine is a +9% _ boost)
• Guild banners/Hero banner (if people drop them)
• search “firework” on the TP and buy those for a max stack of 2hr +10% XP boost
• Boosters in general (even birthday booster etc)
• +50% XP Bonfire
• Laurel boosters (costs laurels, I do not recommend this but it is an alternative if you really must…)

So yeah, just make sure you go all out when you got a good train happening. That or HoT Maguuma Hero Points award a sick chunk of XP. If you are in a guild you can instantly teleport to example: Gilded Hollow = Auric Basin which you can back track into Verdant Brink for ez hero points.

Story quests are the fastest to me, get them stories done. Huge chunks of xp with minimal time investment. In between story quests EotM is alright, but I actually prefer mapping. It’s a lot more fun (to me) and roughly the same xp plus you are going to need to do it eventually anyway.

And don’t forget to eat something plus rub some oil on. The food should give you around +10% XP bonus and the oil another similar number. Should help you get more bang for your XP’s buck.

I took my revenant to Silverwastes at 76 and got to 80 in about an hour and a half. Pop xp boosters and use ranged.

I think EotM is still pretty good. And if you get the dailies done in there, you can get temporary boosters, which (if I’m not remembering wrong) will double capping XP as well as WvW.

Fastest would be finishing up your personal story and hearts if you already did crafting. EOTM is insanely slow, not to mention it’s dead these days compared to pre hot.

1 or 2 starting zones would probably cap you without any boosters
