No, beta characters begin at level 80 and get equipment boxes with stat selectable exotic weapons and armour.

And that toon has full access to all skills, traits and specialisations and ele/necro/guard/mesmer have full access to the elite specialisation

Can we use skins from our account on our beta characters? The wardrobe or skins that are not yet unlocked on our account if we have them available? (I have a chaos longbow skin in my bank, can I use it on my Dragon Hunter without binding it to my account?)

Skin you have unlocked already yes, you can use.

Skin you have unlocked already yes, you can use.

This. Beta character slots are walled off from your normal account and have no access to TP, mail, guilds, etc but have access to a “clone” of your current account, including bank contents, unlocked skins, transmutation charges and inventory gold

So, if I use this “clone” skin that is in my bank the “real” skin will reamin in my bank? I’m sorry, not meaning to be obtuse, just don’t want to risk using the skin on my beta character if it might open it on the account. I want to keep the skin to sell later, but would love to use in for the weekend.

Last beta I had some ascended chests closed in my bank, I opened them with my revenant and used the armor, but in my “real” account the chests remained closed.

What if I don’t have enough Transmutation charges and can’t buy any? I cannot change my gear’s skin? :\

Sadly yeah, you won’t be able to change.

Anyone know if it’s possible to update the cloned bank account? Or would you have to delete all the beta characters to update it or is it just not possible?

(Sidenote: if you need more transmute charges make a new beta character, take it on a city tour to get 5 free transmutes, rinse and repeat)
