81 & 82' lvl bandits in Silwerwastes
Enemy level scales with the number of players in the event zone You don’t know that?
lvl 84 mobs are rather common in zerg temple events in Orr.
For sure bandits in prichion scratch starts with 81/82 cuz in event area when it started was only 1 person. Nah, I never noticed that enemy level scales. I my head lights one thing: ,,Mordemoth lvl 85". Can people under event area upscale mobs too?
I’ve seen mobs above Level 80 for a long time. I did notice the Level 81 mobs in the Far Silverwastes and there were only two of us doing the event. Still, they seemed no more difficult than others…maybe it took 5 seconds more to kill them? I’m not sure, but they all went down without much fuss.
Don’t worry, it’s just a tradition of GW to use mobs who are higher level than you to present harder content. In GW1 your max lv was 20, but you could easily find lv 30+ mobs in endgame areas in hard mode.

All in all, level 81 enemies are like 10% harder to beat than level 80 enemies. What “harder” means in this case is up to the interpretation.
Common enemies in higher level fractals are frequently level 84. I believe that the fractal bosses may be even higher than that as well. It’s certainly not the first time, but it is much less common to see outside of dungeons.

All those enemies in the silverwastes must already own the secret expansion ANet is working on, so they can level beyond 80. Lucky them.
I always hated, when regular mobs outleveled my character. Makes me sort of feel like Forest Gump…
