Black lion Chests.

For those who don’t know, black lion chests are a very unstable currency, fluctuating drastically over time. Before the recent nerf to key farming, prices fluctuated between 10-15s, and post nerf(and due to the flood of new players from F2P and HoT) that are now selling for 1s or less. I suggest that you buy as many of them as you can, quickly.

This is because whenever there is a discount on black lion keys(or a new weapon set comes out) the price of chests increases, and the value is also expected to increase over time as the size of players diminishes.

Also, if you want to straight up trade with your guildies or anyone else, a perceived value of 15-30 gold value for a stack of 250 chests is reasonable(My money is in 25g per stack of 250)

Anybody who really loves economy, tell me if I made any mistakes, I don’t want to put out false info, even though it would help me in the long run

Funny, Black Lion Chests are one of the two things (Aetherblade Keys are the other) that I just sell immediately to the highest buyer, regardless of price, just to get them out of my inventory. I’ve always been a little surprised by the demand for the things, since I don’t farm keys or purchase them.

Of course, that doesn’t say anything about them as an investment. Just thought it was interesting.
