I like the Power, Precision & Healing Power combination of the Keeper’s ascended armor set but the recipe prices in the TP are stupid and no activities are adding new recipe sheet drops to the supply so the prices stay stupid.

Does anyone know of rumours or plans to either a) drop more Keeper’s ascended armor recipe sheets into the supply or b) a new ascended armor set with Power, Precision & Healing Power attributes?

Anet mentioned that with the Pact Commander mastery track, new karma npcs would be unlocked around the world. Those NPCs would have an assortment of items, of which, they specifically mentioned previously released (and currently no longer available) recipes. So, we might see these recipes come back into the game that way (for potentially insane amounts of Karma).

Edit: “Supply Line Management” is what unlocks this, which is currently the 3rd level of that mastery – “Gain access to a network of regional merchants across Tyria with rare goods for trade.”

All you need now to make a full keeper’s set is the inscription and a full set of some other combo ascended armor. You can use the MF to make the other combo ascended armor into the keeper’s with an exotic level inscription (all though these are not cheep to make too).

You could craft any other armor set, then change its stats by forging.
For that you will still need the recipe for the exotic zealot insignia, which is 140g atm on the tp but its still way cheaper than buying the ascended recipes.

the only real way to do it right now is create the cheapest ascended set (whatever stats).

then craft the zealot exotic inscription.

go to mystic forge an dump it all together

it’ll turn into keeper’s gear, so u don’t actually have to craft keeper’s gear

Thanks for the suggestions of using the mystic toilet to change the stats of another set. That’s a good idea.

Make sure to buy the recipe for the exotic insignia, if you want to craft armor, not the recipe for the inscription, as the other 2 posters mentioned.

It will save you a bit it’s 1800 gold on heavy armor recipe’s and doing so will reduce the price to 140 gold + the costs of an other recipe set???
The prices went down a bit they have peaked on 2500+ for a heavy armor set worth of recipes…

Am I glad I bought them when they were fresh… I payed quite a lot, but none of the recipe’s was above 75 gold..

Well sometimes I’m tired, but you’re correct
Inscriptions for weapons,
Insignia’s for weapons.

But just make sure you have both for the Exotic ones, to change other stat ascneded to Keeper sin the forge. only weapon will not do much good, but only armor will neither.
