Many people are pointing out quite rightly that GW2 has a end game profession problem. Now while I dont mind vertical progession with gear aka the treadmill, many do.

I believe a new type of progression is needed:
Idea’s so far..
1)player housing where rare items can be displayed, even tho you cant wear it people would still try for rare items to display add to the house.
2) Guild hall with the same purpose but that the whole guild would work toward adding things both purely cosmetic and functional( https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/suggestions/Guild-Hall-my-suggestions/first#post645949 )< my thread on this
3) Different upgrades to char skills or extra skills themselves to work for

I think all MMO are driven by progression of your hero and if there is no treadmill then some type of progressive system needs to be put in.

ps: add any other idea’s for a new progression system.

They could add new content if they want to keep people busy, not add this boring extra layer of grind to force people to play. More continents to explore, more dungeons, more pvp modes (like GvG) and maps, more dynamic events, more skills to earn. Or miniature vanity pet battles and other mini-games like that. Things that DON’T affect stats.

They could actually make AI to dragons, make those dragon events actually fun. They could make dungeons not so linear and boring. They could make legendary items far less grindy. But no , they left it where it is , in Orr, on Plinx, grind no lifers, grind.
And now new debuff, infusion, i guess if u cant think of anything new, just take it from stupid old game (yes there are ppl who think GW1 was fail boring stupid game).
I didnt bought this game to play GW1, and you wont fix the problem by taking stuff from GW1 and adding it here.
