I’d like to see a balance patch that addressed the unused utility skills for each profession. Every profession has an entire TYPE of skill they don’t use, with the exception of 1, usually.
For example:
Mesmer: Signets
Necromancer: Signets (Locust is the exception)
Guardian: Spirit Weapons
Engineer: Gadgets (Rocket Boots are the exception)
Elementalist: Glyphs
Warrior: Physical(?) (The category under Stomp and Bullrush)
Ranger: Shouts
Thief: Venoms

While recent patches have buffed singular skills in each category (torment on basilisk venom and rocket boots change), I would like to see buffs to the categories as a whole.

I could be wrong about some of the skills, as I do not play several classes. These are just trends that I have observed while browsing the class forums.

Anet’s goal seems to be build diversity and this would be a big step towards that.
For example, as of right now the most commonly used Mesmer utilities are Feedback, Decoy, and Blink. For Elementalists, it seems to be cantrips.

I would love to have more options for utilities. Right now, it just feels like there are utilities you are required to have and all the others are for niche circumstances and builds.

I agree with this…

I don’t know if Anet have information on how often individual skills/traits are used though…if they have not, then never going to happen…

There are loads of utility skills, elite skills, racial skills and traits for all classes that less then 5% of players use. Makes sense to either buff them or merge them with other skills/traits or replace them entirely.

They are apparently working more on skills/traits over the next 6 months or so…

Signets were addressed months ago, most of those in the game were hit in a single patch. Same goes with the elementalist Glyphs, they received a stunbreaker, several CD/duration buffs, and a few other bits here and there.

Unfortunately this all came in the very patch which balanced the elementalists single PvP build for PvE, so to this day we really have no idea how effective these buffs would be were there any builds they could be used on. And we won’t know until the developers work up the guts to make the class-mechanic changes the ele needs to actually have a chance at build diversity.
