A Question About Expansions?
Expansions will def not be free. Wherever you read this got it wrong…..
What they probably meant to say was that this game will always (heres hoping this stays true) be free to play.
Since when did this business of being a hero become being a business?
Expansions still cost money…but there is monthly content/patches that add stuff to the game you bought
Think of it like this:
Expansion = New Continent = Paid
Monthly Content = New Zones for Continent you paid for = Free
My guess is either they said the game itself will always be free after purchase (ie. no subscription) or that they will be adding free content, as they have been, as well as paid expansions and someone got it mixed up and misquoted them.
