Heya! I have just a simple quick question that the wiki or any thread cannot seem to answer from what I can find.

My simple question is, if I were to salvage my ascended pistol, would I get the sigil and infusion from it? Or would it just give me materials that I won’t ever use.

I recently made Quip, and I want to put the upgrades from my ascended pistol in it. So before I waste an ascended weapon and salvage it for nothing, can anyone confirm if the ascended salvage kit works on ascended weapons the same as a black lion salvage kit works on exotics?

I don’t think so. Tho I also wouldn’t do that. You never know when you may want to use dual pistol for like engi or use another class that has pistol making it more convient not to have to move your quip around.

Use an infusion extractor to get safely remove the infusion.

This. Your Ascended weapon is worth many times that of most sigils.

It can salvage the sigils(and usually does), but it won’t always get all of them. Again, better to use only on weapons you know you won’t use.
