That’s 38 days total.

The A Season of Merriment achievement gives 10 AP every time you finish it and you need 5 days to finish it. The achievement can be repeated 10 times (for 100 max AP) that would require 50 days, but we only get 38. Is there a bug here with the achievement or it will continue next year?

It’s actually 28 days, so you could complete it at most 5 times.

Edit: I think it’s basically 0/5 with infinite repeats so it looks like a new “permanent” achievement that’ll be back next year but you only get AP for doing it the first 10 times.

I bought a puppy for Xmas, so I can’t care at all about WD. I’ll be shocked if I can do guild missions.

I know that. But Wintersday is going to last 28 days so 22 days are missing

some people didn’t seem to get it so i stated the situation clearly i totally agree with you.

What I’d like to know is if the Extravagent Wintersday Gift is a once only or repeatable reward from A Season of Merriment.

The suggestion on Dulfy is that this contains the Wrapped Weapons. I assume you only get to pick 1 per Gift. (Incidentally there are 5 weapons in the set)

I hope you can pick something other than one of those weapons. I believe last year or the year before, you could either pick a toy mini pet or a large gift.

Even though I think the weapons look pretty decent, I’ll never equip them on a character, except during festive occasions. Unfortunately, even at those times they’ll be pointless: there’s not a single Wintersday activity that shows weapons.

My guess is that it probably doesn’t reset from season to season. So after a few seasons players won’t be able to get any more AP for this.
