A big thanks to the southsun zergs
Thanks. We aims to please.
Yeah, that’s entirely players fault to try and get some loot from farming!

Actually, sounds more like you can thank botters.
so you complain that others farmed seomthing and now you cant farm anymore
i would say you are responsible for it being nerfed just as anyone else!
(and considering the fact that you feel a need to make a topic makes me think that you farmed it all day too and thats why you are so unhappy about it now….)

Supply and demand. Players nerfed it by making supply higher than demand.
But hey, at least karka shells aren’t vastly overpriced for the non-farmers.
The law of economy were so nice when they worked in your favour, now they work in my favour. Thank you.

Good job really……
A great farming spot before the living story arrived here, then the cling on zergs arrived and now its nerfed.
I dont normally come onto the forums to have a moan but you guys have really helped the community by having yet another good farming spot nerfed.
so yeah, good job
It does feel nerfed…for the last few days at least. For the first week of this living story, rares were dropping and being pulled from chest like no tomorrow. Now, I might get a rare from a chest every 30 or 45 mins..pretty much once a DR cycle. And with the MF buff, I have 347% Magic find…I dont get many rares from drops in southsun doing the instigator events.
So yeah, I think Anet needs to double check this.

I wouldn’t feel the need to farm spots like this if ANET weren’t so anti-farming.

I don’t buy gems…but I have a legendary. Wish you were here.

BUY GEMS LIKE A GOOD CONSUMER.
I need some help on that conclusion. Lets’s say we have farmers on the one hand and the remaining players on the other hand. I’d say, if farmers have really good farmspots, they will accumulate quite a lot of gold and are therefore more likely to exchange gems for gold.
This way the price for gems will rise but the income for players that do not farm does not rise equally. When those players want something they found in the gemshop, like the everlasting mining pick, they are probably more likely to buy it via real money, considering how mucht time they would need to get it via “normal playing”. At the same time, the ration Gems -> Gold rises, giving more intention to buy gems as well.
So, you see that there are quite a few parts where I am not sure whether I am on the right track. E.g. I expect farmers to be the minor part of players. But if I am right, farming actually rises the chances of players buying gems via real money. Which I conclude might be the reason for CoF still being the way it is.
Can anyone enlight me on that topic?

At least someone else besides you got to use it before it got nerfed. So yes, might have been a problem for you, but, for a time at least, it did help the community. Until Anet decided to kill the fun once again, of course.
Remember, remember, 15th of November
Well, there is another really great place to farm that I found. It’s in a place called Orr. Tons of t6 mats drop. Easy temple events with more tons of T6 mats from all the adds. Lots of other events to run. People everywhere, it’s like this HUGE party.
Oh, wait. I forgot. That was what it was like a few months ago. Ummm. Actually it’s not like that anymore. Sort of the opposite. Nvm. My bad. They, ummm, may have nerfed it, just a teensy bit.
