I have a good reason for the Guild Wars community to come together, Extra Life. For those of you who do not know what this is it is a charity that supports Children’s Miracle Network.
Think of how many hours a week you play GW2 for your enjoyment, now imagine putting all that fun into a 24 hour marathon that raises money for a good cause. I have participated in this for 3 years on other games but the communities where never as large as this one. I believe we could make a LARGE difference in the lives of many children in need of help.
I am posting to get a feel for the interest from the community. I will be posting this on my home server forum (Fort Aspenwwod) as well the GW2 subreddit and would like to ask if you can post on your own forums. With the amount of players this game has I believe we could raise a great deal of money. Who knows, with enough interest maybe we can even get Anet to match what we raise.

I would really love to see this kind of event. When I came back to GW2 from SWTOR I was sad that I was going to miss the event they were holding for this same charity. I don’t know very many people on my server, Blackgate, but if you need help organizing anything let me know!
