Guild Wars 2

I’ve played GW2 on and off for the past year, I enjoy it but have never become truly addicted as I swore to myself I’d never let another MMO entice me again. My other half recently started making characters while she was at my house and now she’s pretty hooked too, enough so that she’s only gone and bought a nice tidy PC to play it on at her house.

My question is what the best characters would be for us to start again with? I know there is no ‘best’ class, and that every class should be fine for PVE, but I wanted opinions anyway.

We both have mainly played Warrior classes since starting, mine being level 54 and hers being level 20. She’s enjoying this character and sounds like she may want to continue with that trend as she finds it easy to play compared to her old Elementalist. I don’t mind what I play though, I was thinking a Guardian/Ranger duo but from having a quick play of a ranger there doesn’t seem to be a massive amount of AoE attacks.

What would you guys suggest? Should we be boring with a Guardian/Warrior duo or would we benefit more from something else?

Warrior/warrior sounds about right for PvE.

Or just play whatever, everything works.

If she is enjoying warrior stick with it. There are 5 free slots though so just playing around with combinations would be a good idea.

Warrior + Elementalist can do crazy stuff.
