I like hearing things like this. There are some good people around. /salute to Lacero Omni

A few weeks ago I had a guy accidentally send me about 5 unidentified dyes and a few other identified. I returned to sender and told him he sent them to the wrong person and he sent them right back and said “It’s ok, enjoy.”

I think iv’e easily run in to more “good” players than “bad” players.

The main thing I love about this game is that seeing other people is never bad (until culling happens – fix pls) so I’m much more likely to be in a good mood and want to help folks

There should honestly be a “sticky” Thread that you could add to, to mention our “True Gems in Guild Wars”.

When the game launched, I was shocked to find within 5 minutes my name was taken. Now, for most names I blew it off, but I really did want my name: Nalora in the game, because it is my name in real life, at one time you could just google Nalora and everything that came up was me, now there are a few more Nalora that come up, but having the name for more than 56 years, I am aware of how rare a name it is.

I messaged the person who took it the first night of launch, and was surprised when they gave it up for me. This is a true gem.

Great,you know what would have happend in Aion ? He would have pm’d you saying how dumb you are,then bloat about it on world chat,come to your loc,wear the item and start dancing around you while hes making fun of you.Honestly,i’m glad the community is more mature in this game,gj for sending it back:)

in my experience, there are many, many more nice people in GW2 than there are jerks in the game.

Aw this is already my favourite thread.

I remember once a couple of random people from the same guild (not mine) decided to follow me around in LA and harassed me in say chat because they didn’t like my character’s armor? It was a very odd experience. Anyway, someone came over and started giving them heck, then sent me a nice message afterward. I thought that was really sweet.

Just today I am at Eternal Battlegrounds JP in about half way. No one attacked me so far, I’m after pit-part. Some guy ran to me, invited to party and opened portal. Said – “Come”. Without much thinking (because I had no bad experiences with mesmer portals) I entered and my first thought was – “Da hell! It’s the very start, kitten ” He then targeted this place which makes you invisible (I saw it only near beginning, hence my wtf) and wished me gl. And left. A bit dazzled I look around invisible and I truly don’t know where I was… It was very near the spot where we met. I continued doing JP and started to see groups of 5+ enemies camping, attacking everyone. Thanks to this gesture I managed to get to chest. Cheers to you mate! Sorry I don’t remember your name

Think it’s awesome that people are not only having these good experiences with other players in game, but taking the time to talk about them on the forums.

Far to much of what gets posted is the ranting, and it makes it feel like it’s ALL negative.

Thank you to the OP for creating a place where people can post the GOOD of the game!

Lacero Omni, here’s a pile of karma for you. You can’t buy anything with it, but you can trade it in later when you really need it.

I had a player send me massive amount of mats to me and I accidentally started using them… I eventually got enough back to send back to her, but she quit the game shortly after. I did promise to make it up to her and her friend.

I’ve done that before.. Accidentally sent some stuff to another player, not sure how their name got into that space, but anyway, they sent it back.. Yes, there are good people in mmos, they are just far and few in between.

I sent 250 ectoplasms to the wrong guy and he told me to get lost
