Is that you can go awol for a year and it only takes a week to catch back up on anything/everything.

Except for the entire year of Living Story (LS1) that you missed that does not return and is not replayable in any way, then get thrown into the new LS2 with characters that you don’t know and absolutely no idea of what is going on ?

I’m confused as to how you catch up on something that does not exist, besides the obvious out-of-game venues like reading the wiki or watching YouTube.

I’ve played other games and seen players quit for several years and pick it up again in a week. There are actually a lot of games like this, even several MMOs.
