I live in Sweden and while I usually give a little extra time to postage it seems that 7 weeks is a bit excessive. I am wondering if other Guild Wars 2 players are also in the same boat as me with their orders?
The soundtrack for this game is one of my favorite all time soundtracks and I have been playing games as far back as a 3 year old on his fathers Commodore 64. Soundtracks and music have only ever gotten better until they are so integral that removing them lessens the game. Notable soundtracks that I love would include Baldurs Gate 2, Half-life 2, Skyrim, Bastion and dare I say it…The original Sims (that elevator/ikea jazz, man )

I think Guild Wars 2’s soundtrack is just so awesome that I just had to own it; officially, not pirated nor just a copy, but a physical copy that is even signed!
Lastly, while studying hard this term has left me with little time for gaming save for late evenings, the 5 tracks from the collectors edition remind me that Guild Wars 2 is on my hard drive where it will remain for a very long time.
Thanks for reading!

tldr: Has anybody received their signed copy yet?

I ordered it when it was first announced and it took 8 weeks before it was shipped and another 2 weeks to receive it. They said they had manufacturing issues and the demand was far greater than anticipated. I wouldn’t expect that to be true anymore though, unless that many people really bought it (enough to keep them backordered for months).

Mine was ordered on the 3rd sept. It’s still not been shipped. Even worse is that i got a response from a ticket saying it would be shipped in 5 days, but that was 10 days ago!

Just as long as some ppl are getting them i s’ppose it must mean we’ll get em eventually. I hope.

Would’ve been nice if they thought to supply a digital copy as well to offset the long wait.

The response I got was five business days, which will therefore include only Monday-Friday.

I sent in a ticket regarding my order, as I ordered on the 29th of August. Got the response that there was some manufacturing delays when I posted a ticket October 9th. It was then shipped October 15th, and I received it October 23rd (Canada).

Overall, yes I got my soundtrack eventually. It has a signature and is in one piece.

You should be talking to DirectSong. They are the distributor of the soundtrack, not ArenaNet. DirectSong is owned by Julian and Jeremy Soule, the latter who composed for GW.

Is there no digital iTunes or Google Music version? That would be odd if there isn’t.

I ordered on August 28 and I’m still waiting – DirectSong haven’t even bothered to provide any updates on what’s going on with it, I’ve just been left in the dark.

Pretty kittened off with their idea of customer service. And people wonder why piracy is rampant.

Mine showed up a soon after the game’s release date. Wish I remembered more specifically, I just recall having the game for a little bit before the soundtrack showed up in the mail.

It was a signed copy, but i’ll admit the packaging seemed a bit cheap and flimsy. I actually took out the CDs and put them into a booklet and stored the signed case in my CE tin because I was scared it would fall apart from being opened and closed.

You should definitely dig up that order number and email their CS.

I also ordered and paid on 30th August. It hasn’t arrived yet.

I queried DirectSong on 7th Oct, was told that it had been delayed due to manufacturing delays, but was expected to ship in “the next 5 business days”.

I’ve had no further updates. I still have no idea if it has shipped and just not yet arrived (to Australia – which does take a few weeks normally), or has not shipped at all. I will be querying again in a week or so if it doesn’t arrive by then.

Edit: it finally arrived yesterday (Tues 13th Nov), after being shipped last week – TEN WEEKS after it was originally ordered/paid for. At least it is here now. I figured an update was worthwhile for anyone else still waiting who ordered around the same time.
