Despite the living world events and the dynamic events all around Tyria, I really don’t feel like I’m immersed in a dynamic and ever-changing fantasy world.

My feelings, when I log in, are more something like I’m actually playing in a fake still world, while teleporting around freely as if i were in the Matrix.

1 – I suggest to make waypoint teleports only available when standing nearby another waypoint and to reduce the number of waypoints overall. Now there is a waypoint every 30 steps: this is just silly.

2 – I suggest to introduce weather dynamic changes, like rain, fog, storms. Something big that really should harden the gameplay experience while fighting out there.

3 – I suggest to introduce much much darker nights. I don’t even notice the difference between night and day now.

Every suggestion has the purpose of making the world feel more consistent, realistic and dynamic.

I agree with your second and third comments but I strongly disagree with your first.

Who’s to say a living word with specific technology can’t include waypoints? They’re part of the game. Waypoints don’t break my immersion any more than walking through a zone gate does.

They’re also completely optional. Removing waypoints would punish people who want to play the game differently from you. Your other suggestions would not.
