well its not really like an advertised trade. its just my friend(cousin) asked me for some gold and i said sure send me ectos in gw1. and she said we could make an exchange, its not like im making a market our of it.

Ectos were kind of hard to get hold of in Guild Wars 1 since you had to get them from an endgame dungeon. Currently 1 ecto in Guild Wars 1 is going for about 10 plat each

Now, back when I was playing, a reasonable good income day for me was about 10 plat from doing the zaishan missions and bounties. Which would suggest that a upper range price for one Guild Wars 1 ecto would be a reasonable one day amount of gold made in Guild Wars 2.
