This is not a complaint that my thread “DR – An analysis of Observations” was merged with another thread on the same context but with a thread with the title “Why the current DR is a good thing”, thus effectively burying some hard work putting a constructive post together under a thread whose title implies the complete opposite.

I do understand that a lot of work is done to keep the forums in order but some of us take time and effort to make mature, constructive discussions and its a shame when something like this happens.

I agree and already reported it.
For me it is an euphemism to keep the “better looking” name which does not even to some extent reflect the serious conversation about problems and issues with the DR mechanic in the other thread.

To make it simple:
“Why the current DR is a good thing” IS NOT THE SAME LIKE “DR – An analysis of Observations”

I assumed that it is not easy to demerge the merged threads, so I suggested to change the title into something neutral like “DR – discussions”. It is not really acceptable compared to before, but at least it isn’t misleading and an euphemism.

Much appreciated. Now, If that thread was put back to its original place, it would be much much more appreciated. I do feel that a lot of constructive feedback could be received from players and be used to help identify some issues and potentially (albeit over-optimistically) help the devs.

But for the most part, Threads where technicalities are presented for players to discuss, make a lot of forum readers feel at ease and to understand that Anet is not some evil empire trying to take over the galaxy.
